The DR 'Scout' Field & Brush Mower is a compact, easy to handle machine, powered by a Briggs & Stratton Intek engine, and can mow dense grass up to 30cm tall and weeds up to 90cm tall. Safety is maximised thanks to its blade-brake clutch, which stops the belt and blade from turning when the controls are released. It also allows you to drive the mower from site to site without the blade engaged. It also features a gear driven transmission so you match the ground speed to your walking pace, while reverse gear allows you to easily back out of tight spots.

When working in mud, snow or on sloping ground, extra traction can be gained by engaging its lockable differential, while its blade-clutch stops the blade instantly at the pull of a lever. Scalping is minimised and traction further improved thanks to its pivoting mower deck which follows the contours of the ground and keeps the weight on the drive wheels.
